Thank you for taking the time to participate in our Annual Neighborhood School Supply Drive. We had 27 neighbors participate this year and thanks to your contribution we gathered enough supplies for Mr. Frias History class! He was very excited by the donations and expressed his gratitude for having enough supplies for all of his students. There was even enough supplies to share with other classrooms. His class and David G. Magnet School thank you so much for your contribution!!!
SUPPORTING OUR STUDENTS & OUR TEACHERS
For the last 5 years, I have organized a school supply drive in the neighborhoods of North Hollywood and the Valley Village Area. Every year countless people donate school supplies and most of the supplies go a long way! The teachers I have worked with still use supplies that were donated last year or the year before.
Many teachers and schools struggle to effectively provide supplies to their students. Unfortunately, most teachers have to pay for supplies out of their own pockets. Our children are our future and it is important that they have the tools and environment to learn. Every year I partner up with a 1st-time Teacher and help him or her stock up her classroom with supplies.
